Keyword research
Keyword research in WordPresto surfaces the terms the site already ranks for and enriches them with search volume, difficulty and SERP intelligence. It is cost-sensitive, so enrichment never runs automatically — you trigger each enrichment explicitly.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A target market must be set (see “Setting a target market”). Volume and difficulty are country-scoped, so without a market the research cannot run.
- A keyword set connected to the project gives the seed terms. You can import your own terms or pull the queries the site already ranks for from Search Console.
What each mode does
Section titled “What each mode does”- Ideas — broad keyword ideas from one or more seed terms (the default when unsure).
- Suggestions — long-tail phrases that contain a seed term.
- Related — keywords branching out from a single seed.
- Ranked — the keywords a domain or page already ranks for. Use this for “what does this site rank for” and for competitor and gap questions.
Enrichment is explicit
Section titled “Enrichment is explicit”Enrichment (volume, difficulty, SERP and competitor data) is a paid step. WordPresto opens the workbench pre-filled and waits for you to press the visible “uses credits” Run button — it never spends on your behalf from a chat turn or on render. Until you run enrichment you still get the organic keywords the site ranks for, but no volume or difficulty figures.
Results become intelligence
Section titled “Results become intelligence”Returned keywords, volumes, difficulties and SERP data are persisted as source-labelled project intelligence, so they feed the topical map, content-gap analysis and the insights Emma volunteers. Nothing is fabricated: a term with no data is shown as having no data.
