AI visibility (answer engines)
More and more readers ask an AI assistant instead of searching. WordPresto measures whether the answer engines cite your site, shows you where you are losing ground, and turns the gaps into drafts you can review and publish — with the impact measured afterwards.
LLM Mentions
Section titled “LLM Mentions”The LLM Mentions panel covers three engines: Google’s AI Overview, ChatGPT and Perplexity.
- For Google AI Overview and ChatGPT, a refresh shows your AI mentions and AI search volume, the source domains the engines cite, the search results behind the answers, and the brand entities and categories the AI associates with your domain. Loading is cache-first and free; Refresh is the explicit, credit-metered action.
- For Perplexity, WordPresto checks your project’s real tracked queries and shows, per query, whether your site was cited — plus the domains Perplexity does cite for those topics. A slider chooses how many queries to check and shows the exact projected credit cost before you run it.
A target market must be set first, and AI visibility is available from the paid tiers — locked states and costs are always shown honestly.
The Answer Engine panel
Section titled “The Answer Engine panel”The Answer Engine panel reads your accumulated citation history and spends no credits. It scores your coverage (how many tracked queries cite you), your share of voice against every other cited domain, and the trend — rising, falling, flat or too new to say. It also shows the competitor domains most cited for your queries.
Its priority gap queue ranks where to act: queries where you are not cited, losing ground, under-cited, or where rivals dominate. Open draft turns a gap into a remediation draft in the Canvas, which flows through the normal review and approval gate before anything publishes.
Measured before and after
Section titled “Measured before and after”When a remediation’s document is verified live, WordPresto reports the real before/after cited rate for that query. A remediation that has not been verified live shows exactly that, with no assumed impact.
AI traffic you can see today
Section titled “AI traffic you can see today”Two free signals complete the picture. GA4 ingestion classifies AI-assistant referral sessions (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot and others) into the traffic channel split. And if you install Site Signals, your first-party analytics split AI-referral sessions by engine and a server-side path even counts visits from AI crawlers, which run no JavaScript.
